One of the questions I am most commonly asked is how I make my printed fabric mermaid tails.
Did you know that I actually have an eBook series that covers everything? It currently has two parts: the full guide, and the second guide which zeros in on making extra fins for your tails.
Both of these eBooks can be purchased at ShopVancouverMermaid.com.
Welcome back my beautiful little fishes! In today's post we are going to be talking all about how I add that extra little sparkle (above and beyond sequins) to my fabric mermaid tails!
I have included, at the bottom of this post, some affiliate links to where you can buy yourself the special paints I talk about in this video so be sure to check those out too!
Below are links to where you can buy yourself the Crystal and Glitter Tulip paints that I use on my mermaids tails!
Note: Affiliate links are used which means I receive a small percentage of sales made by them, this helps support my blog and channel.
Thank you so much for watching and I look forward to seeing you again next time!
Hey my sweet little fishes!
In this video I talk to you guys about some of the common areas of damage that you are likely to come across with your fabric mermaid tail (regardless of where you buy it) as you use it and as it ages. I also talk to you about how I personally fix these issues on my tails in the hopes of giving you guys some options should you encounter any of these problems on your own.
As I say in the video, mermaid tails are a lot like cars, you need to put the time in to care for it and maintain it so that it can last you a good long while.
What kind of issues do you find yourself encountering with your mermaid tails (fabric, silicon or otherwise)? I would love to hear your experiences in the comments below and what you've done to solve the issues that have come up!
