Mermaid MeditationI know it's all we can do right now to not dry up when the world feels like it's keeping our mermaid dreams on lockdown, but something I like to do to realign with my mermaid self is some mermaid meditation.⠀
⠀ I do this in several different ways, but today I wanted to tell you about one of my favourites: the mermaid bath meditation.⠀ ⠀ I fill my tub with warm (not excessively hot) water, add my mermaid water salt mix (would you like a tutorial on this?), lower the lights, turn on some ocean sounds and let myself soak.⠀ ⠀ Pro Tip: If you wear your swimming earplugs (keeps the water from getting stuck afterwards) and rest your head back in the water with your ears below the surface, you can really tune into your breathing and even feel your heart beat.⠀ ⠀ Try to visualize your breath as waves on the beach. As you breathe in, the waves roll up the shore and as your breathe out, they gently drift back out to sea.⠀ How do you like to connect with your inner mermaid? |
